After Stories | Nansatsu: A Journey of Prayer and Rebirth

Southern Kyushu is home to volcanoes and hot springs,
ocean and wind, prayer and rebirth.
A landscape overlooking Sakurajima.
Hot spring resorts enveloped in steam.
Capes where sea breezes blow through.
A culture of prayer where people have long lived in harmony with nature.
"After Stories | Minamisatsu - A Journey of Prayer and Rebirth" is a series
centered in southern Kagoshima Prefecture,
themed around "travel to calm the mind."
Kagoshima, the birthplace of ONSENSUI99,
has a culture of living with nature.

Hot spring culture.
Life surrounded by the sea and mountains.
In this series,
we don't just provide tourist information,
"Why did this water flourish in this land?"
We will convey the charm of Southern Kyushu, including the natural and spiritual culture behind this question.

The Wellness Culture of Southern Kyushu, Fostered by Fire and Water
Kagoshima is a land formed by volcanic activity.
Groundwater that has passed through the volcanic ash layer (Shirasu Plateau) over many years
becomes soft natural water and has supported the local food and hot spring culture.
ONSENSUI99, too,
is natural alkaline ion water sourced from deep underground in Tarumizu, Kagoshima.
The nature of Southern Kyushu
quietly teaches us the sensation of "finding balance."
Soaking in hot springs.
Feeling the sea breeze.
Having quiet time.
And savoring water.
We hope that the After Stories series
will be an opportunity to experience the charm of Southern Kyushu.
