Southern Kyushu is home to an area
where volcanoes and hot springs, sea and wind, prayer and rebirth coexist.

Southern Kyushu's Wellness Culture Nurtured by Fire and Water
Kagoshima is a land formed by volcanic activity.
Groundwater that has passed through layers of volcanic ash (Shirasu Plateau) over many years
has become soft natural water, supporting the local food and hot spring culture.
ONSENSUI99 is also
natural alkaline hot spring water sourced from deep underground in Tarumizu, Kagoshima.
The nature of Southern Kyushu
quietly teaches us the sensation of "resetting."
Soaking in hot springs.
Feeling the sea breeze.
Having quiet time.
And savoring water.
We hope that the After Stories series
will provide an opportunity to experience the charm of Southern Kyushu.
