SOC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tarumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Representative Director: Shigeyuki Kusama) announced that it has entered into a location agreement with Tarumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, and will construct a new "third factory." In order to meet growing demand both domestically and internationally, we will significantly expand our production capacity and contribute to the local economy.

Expanding demand for hot spring water 99 and overseas expansion

Natural alkaline hot spring water ``Onsen Water 99'' is super soft water grown on the Shirasu Plateau in Tarumi City, at the foot of Sakurajima. In addition to expanding sales in Japan, in 2025 we established a local subsidiary in Thailand, SOC Corporation (Thailand) Ltd., and began expanding into the ASEAN market. Demand is expected to continue to grow in countries around the world.

In order to respond to the increasing number of orders, our company will construct a new third factory.

• Land area: 4,673㎡

• Building area: 2,711㎡

• Planned start of construction: September 2020

• Operation schedule: November 2020

• Investment amount: Approximately 3 billion yen

• Production capacity: Approximately 2.5 times that of existing equipment
