ONSENSUI 99 was born in Tarumizu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, a small port town in Japan.
Overlooking Sakurajima, this area is a globally unique natural environment with ongoing volcanic activity.

We believe that the water nurtured over many years by the nature of this land should not be just "mineral water," but rather,
"gentle water that accompanies daily life."
With this in mind, we launched ONSENSUI 99.

Water Nurtured by Volcanoes and Geological Layers

Deep beneath Tarumizu City lies layers of volcanic rock formations,
created by the volcanic activity of Sakurajima.

ONSENSUI 99 water springs from a depth of over 750m, and by passing through these volcanic rock layers over many years,
it is naturally filtered, resulting in a soft and clear water quality.

The result is a globally rare water that is
**ultra-soft (hardness 1.7) and alkaline (pH 9.5-9.9)**.

We wanted to embed this water quality directly into the brand name,

That is the origin of the name "ONSENSUI 99."
